With well curated, quality art which will surprise the viewers with their freshness, the season ahead will boast of exhibitions on watercolours, drawings and printmaking.

Sprawled over an impressive 2,200 sq feet area, Art Perspective is owned and managed by the young entrepreneur Suruchi Saraf, who is herself a self-taught artist.

The gallery has started its operations with an exciting show titled Ebony & Ivory, which features black and white works in various mediums by renowned artists like Achuthan Kudallur, Amitabh Sengupta, Amitava Das, Anupam Sud, Dhiraj Choudhury, Dilip Mitra, Ganesh Haloi, Jyoti Bhatt, Kavita Deuskar, K.M. Adimoolam, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Robin Mondal, Rameshwar Broota, Sanat Kar, Shobha Broota, Shruti Chandra, Thota Vaikuntam and Yusuf Arakkal. This show gives occasion to each of the participating artists to step out of the usual ambit of their practice, and explore the monochromatic possibilities of their distinctive forms.

Each work presents a unique negotiation between black and white, with a mediating grey. In the forthcoming season, the gallery hopes to zoom in on young, emerging talent and also bring non-mainstream art forms like tribal and folk to the centre of attention.
